SVO parking area navigation
Our design project focused on creating the user journey to Yandex Drive’s parking slots in Sheremetyevo International Airport and the way out. The primary challenge was to create a clear, intuitive navigation system without the ability to build new structures; we could only utilize existing surfaces within the parking area. The centerpiece of our design was the incorporation of bright, branded line elements at the top of numerous columns throughout the parking area. These highly visible, branded columns created an easily identifiable route, ensuring that users could effortlessly navigate the entire parking space.
Key objectives were:
Maximize visibility: We ensured our designs were highly noticeable, incorporating bold colors and high-contrast elements to stand out in a busy environment.
Adapt to various formats: Given the diverse surfaces and spaces within the parking area, we tailored our navigation items to fit a variety of formats. This included large wall elements, metal plates, overhead signs and stickers.
